Cheikh Diop, one of the Diop brothers of the big and known family Diop from Dakar, Senegal. At a young age he already played different percussion instruments, under which the djembé and doundoun. In Senegal he was one of the percussionists of the ballet 'Des Dances Africaine du Senegal' and 'Gorée Mon Historie'.
